Floral - Eishet Chayil

Within this magnificent and intricate border is the Eishet Chayil prayer in both Hebrew and English.

This prayer celebrates the incredible woman - who makes the house into a home with her love, kindness, and wisdom. It is she who nurtures, guides and teaches by example. It is she who keeps the ship afloat no matter the size of the waves that life might throw her way.

These special words are traditionally sung by the husband to his wife as they begin the Friday night Shabbat dinner.

This original art features two layers of paper cut design, to create a dimensional effect. I chose soft feminine colors of lavender, turquoise, and
baby blue to hand paint the silk background. I use a unique technique that creates a vibrancy of color that makes my pieces truly one-of-a-kind!
